Battle # 7: Joy of Saki
Green Army Commanders mix and mingle with NYC's elite at the Joy of Saki festivities. We all had a great time and enjoyed the tastings. Many minds were opened and support garnered. It was an all around good time for everyone involved and we look forward to many more.
Battle #6 Schism Rocks NYC Boat Tour
Once again Green Army NY had a fantastic time and enjoyed a heartwarming welcome. First and foremost, we would like to thank Keith and the band for all their hospitality and support. The boat swayed, the band played and a good time was had by all! We met many people and enlisted many more. We want to give a special thank you to everyone who doanted and bought t-shirts and ribbons. Without you all there is no Army - we recognize that and appreciate your support.

Battle #5: The Siren Festival & Cyclones @ Keyspan Park
Green Army NY took to the streets of Coney Island once again Saturday for the Siren Festival. The Siren Festival is a day long concert featuring a wide range of musical acts . Thousands of people came out to enjoy this eclectic mix of music ranging from Rock to techno. Green Army NY spent the entire day gaining support for our cause, raising donations, and enlisting new soldiers.

Battle #4: "To the Bastille"
Green Army NY had the pleasure of attending the Bastille festival in Manhattan. The festival was a brilliant display of French culture. Thousands of people in attendance enjoyed delicious French food, music and art. As always, Green Army NY had the pleasure of meeting new supporters and asks that they continue to rally with us at upcoming events.

Battle #3: Independence Day Capital Invasion
Green Army NY went all the way to Washington DC for the 2009 4th of July. We attended the Smoke-in @ Lafayette Park, as well as the rest of the Capital's Independence Day festivities. The rally drew a decent crowd, and by the time it was all over, Green Army's Mission Statement had been read by newly recruited Soldier John. John, we thank you for your support!

Battle #2: Battle for Jones Beach
Once again, Green Army NY takes the day with a stellar victory! The weather was terrible but the show went on. We took to the field, fanned out, and gained over a hundred new signatures for the petition in under an hour!

Battle # 1: Battle At Coney Island
Below is the photographic evidence of Green Army's battle June 20, 2009 at the Mermaid Parade on Coney Island. We stormed the beach and met an overwhelmingly positive response - we received over 250 signatures in the first 2 hours!

After the fight for the beach, Green Army NY took the fight to Tamaqua in Brooklyn where we enlisted the support of Alive & Kickin Inc.
